The fire is made using native South-West ingredients, creating the smoke from the fire to become fragrant and soothing.

A smoking ritual or ceremony is a time-honoured, serious affair. The smoke and its various elements bring blessing and healing, connecting those involved with Country and each other.

Dignitaries can be individually smoked by the fire-maker and there will be opportunity for all attendees to walk through the smoke which is made to last the duration of formalities.
